Tracy McCarthy’s journey into wellness began in her late thirties, following the birth of her sixth child. At that point in her life, she decided to pursue a path that had always been close to her heart.

Fascinated by the body’s ability to recover, restore and respond to thoughtful care, Tracy trained in massage, beauty therapy, reflexology, neuromuscular therapy, body treatments and a wide range of holistic therapies.

Over the years, she worked closely with clients in Kinsale and Clonakilty, helping people feel more comfortable, relaxed and cared for. Seeing the difference that attentive, hands-on care could make encouraged Tracy to continue learning and developing her expertise.

She later moved into management and education within the industry, giving her a wider understanding of professional treatments, client experience and the work required to build a trusted wellness business.

In 2022, Tracy founded Naturally Balanced Wellness.

The idea developed naturally through her work with clients. People regularly asked what they could use at home between treatments, so Tracy began creating simple oils and blends inspired by the needs she encountered in her treatment rooms.

What began as a small, hands-on idea has grown into a recognised Irish wellness brand, creating face oils, body oils, lip oils, essential-oil blends, handcrafted soaps, foot and bath soaks, room sprays, sauna oils and thoughtful self-care gifts.
